Household remedies for washing white clothes in well water?
I have well water at home that turns everything orange! My hair, my rabbit’s water bottle, and most importantly my clothes. We have a filter and use water softeners. I have a school uniform that I need to wash and can’t get to the laundromat today. Are their any household remedies I can add to the washing machine? Like vinegar or lemon juice?? Please help.

Add 1/3 cup of bicarb soda to the wash and half a cup of white vinegar and the bicarb soda to the rinse water. If this problem is going to be long term, I would be looking at adding a rain water tank to your house and using that for laundry.
