What's wrong with my kitchen faucet?

My kitchen faucet isn’t working right! When I use the the spray or turn the water purifier, the faucet still runs water and the sprayer or water filter only run half as much as previously. Hope this makes sense.

Why is my Brita faucet filter getting clogged so fast and how do I unclog it?

I have a Brita filter on my kitchen faucet. They are supposed to last 2 months, but on my faucet, they tank after 2.5 weeks. I don’t use the faucet excessively.

They are very expensive, so is there a way to unclog them? It just seems that they clog way too soon, maybe there are mineral deposits in my water. I live in a prewar building in NYC.

They should last longer than two weeks! They’re supposed to last 2 months!

Why does the water from our kitchen faucet taste bad?

All the other faucets in the house work fine. Our kitchen faucet runs very slow, even the spray rinse hose connected to it has more volume. I must run the water for 30 seconds, other wise the water tastes like it has sour bacteria in it. There is plenty of pressure in the hose faucet right outside the kitchen window. I boiled out the faucet filter on the end of the faucet and that seemed to help for a day or two. A glass of this tap water left on my bed side table overnight tasted horrible, even worse than when it was first filled.

Kitchen faucet issue?

I am getting narrow stream of water in my kitchen faucet. The water amount used to be much more so was the water pressure. Pipes are almost new, and i don’t have any water filter attached to the sink. I live in the 2nd floor in a condo – sharing the bldg. water pipes with 3 other units.
I am wondering if the problem is from the main pipe, or only in my unit kitchen pipe.

anybody knows?

Which water filter works best?

I was at a friend’s house once and he had one of those filters on his kitchen faucet. I actually got a glass of water from it and let me tell you it still tasted nasty. I can’t remember which one it was if it was a brita or culligan. I’m not sure. I always go and refill my 5 gallon bottle at a water dispenser. But I’m getting tired of doing it especially when the dispenser is out of order. So I now I keep hearing and reading that the sink water is fine to drink. Is there a filter out there that works well enough to be able to drink the water? Thanks

Why does water taste different from alternate faucets in the house?

I have noticed that water from my downstairs bathroom faucet tastes more chlorinated than the water from my upstairs kitchen faucet. Is there a reason for that? I have no water filter hooked up to the main line. I live in a city – so we don’t have a well or anything.

How do you clean the filter inside the kitchen faucet sink?

We have very low water pressure in our kitchen sink, which happened right after we put in a new water heater. I was told that there might be calcium deposits on the filter, and I tried to get it off, but I couldn’t get it. Is there a trick? Note: there is no other problems with any of the other faucets/toilets in the rest of the house. Thanks

Using Water Filter in the Bathroom Safe??

I’ve been drinking water from a Brita Filter from my bathroom faucet for several weeks now. Is this safe to drink from? Or are there contaminants in the air I should be watching out for, etc.??

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!!!!!!!!
I put it in the bathroom only because the filter did not fit on my kitchen faucet. Left me no choice. Thanks for reminding me

What is the best water source?

Plastic bottled water is odious to me and absurdly bad for the environment. Possible options are buying Brita or Pur filters, or installing a water filter into my kitchen faucet. I am not very rich so I was thinking of using those conventional pitchers with filters. Another option is ordering Arrowhead and using a dispenser, but is that eco-friendly? I hear some sketchy stuff about "Spring Water" too. Any good/bad experiences with water filtration systems?

Bad taste in water after getting new faucet?

I baught a new kitchen faucet and the water tastes horrible! I thought it would just go away, but it has been more than two months and it is still bad, it has all metal parts, I heard of problems with taste from plastic parts. We even put it in our brita filter thing and it doesnt help at all. Why is it like this? Will it go away?
Its not the water genious, all the other water in the house is fine, it started just when we put the faucet in.
