Aquamira Frontier Filter Straw review

This is a great minimalist water filter to keep in your survival gear. It is lightweight and fairly inexpensive, so it makes a great addition to your pack. This is not they type of filter that you would rely on for camping or hiking, but in an emergency it could save your life. You can live for about three days without water, so a simple filter like the Aquamira Frontier could allow you to drink from a stream or river, keeping you alive.

Zero Water Pitcher Review

This is a review of the “Zero Water Pitcher System” I bought at Costco. The company claims it removes ALL solid liquids from the water – thus giving it a zero, when measured by a special meter. See for yourself!

REAL Hagen Fluval U4 Filter Review

* I dont think youtube is going to let me upload in 1080HD anymore* So this is the review on the Fluval U4. I have made a video or 2 on this filter in the past but it wasnt a review. Now that I have a good year of use on this bad boy its time. By the way, with the cat and fish thing, all I am saying is its not clever, if you look below every video, there will be 10 comments of the same nature. It doesnt make me mad, in fact, I like it when you guys are like “cool cat” and stuff like that, I love my cats too. I do know where I shoot my videos, trust me. Anyways I am just going to do a short wrap on here this time. This a good filter for so many reasons. Such as reliability, quietness, flow, utilities, ease of maintenance, and actual filtration. It can also aerate the top output when close enough to the water. So really it can be used for different purposes other than just a filter. If you have any questions let me know. Also remember I do have another video on this filter up. Thanks for tuning in!

REAL / FULL Hagen Fluval C Series Filter Review

*No HD due to Youtube* Sorry the video is so long, but I had to get it all out to do a good full review. Well on the other hand, there isnt really anything I missed. Short and Sweet: Reliable, easy to use it, easy to maintain, easy to clean, quiet, flexible/adjustable, modular, and has great overall performance. Also on the “nitrate test” I did, the drop in ppm didnt happen over night. This was a steady drop over months, on top of that the number I gave was only the estimated average of the drop, as it slightly varies at times. Like I said this was not a completely controlled test. Also results can highly vary, due to numerous factors. For the small amount that was in there, with the size of the tank, that is a huge change. To make clear what I did; put SeaChems DeNitrate in the top of the biological drip chamber, and removed some of the c-nodes (the bio-max). Remember Denitrate and really any nitrate filters need extremely low flow to work. If you have any questions send me a PM. Thanks for tuning in!
